Clickable Pro Version 2.0 Integrates Emerging Google Ad Formats and Bulk Keyword Editing Across Networks

As I’ve mentioned before, one of our core beliefs is that we actively listen to and respond to our customers, and this crucial feedback informs and drives our product roadmap and priorities.  We take every customer interaction seriously and view it as an opportunity to learn and improve – whether face-to-face at our offices, with our sales or customer service teams, here on our blog, via Twitter, on public community forums, or elsewhere. The bottom line is that your collaboration is central in helping us achieve our core mission: simplifying customers’ lives.

Extensive customer collaboration has helped us kick off 2009 with tremendous product momentum. We are excited to introduce version 2.0 of our flagship product, Clickable Pro, which we are fully launching today. This is one of our biggest releases ever and we think it will be a real game-changer.  Version 2.0 adds a wealth of new features that make you more productive, improve your advertising returns and make it easier to be a successful search marketer.

So what’s new? Last year we laid the Clickable foundation, making it quick and painless to import all your Google, Yahoo and MSN search marketing accounts and easy to manage them in our intuitive interface.  With 2.0 we made it easier to manage across all your accounts and campaigns. You now can make bulk keyword changes instantly, whether you have 100 or 100,000 keywords. This results in tremendous time and cost savings, as well as relief from hours of tedious manual and spreadsheet work.

Additionally, we added an entirely new layer of innovation beyond standard text ads. Clickable now is among the first (if not “the first”) advertising-management solutions to integrate Google’s emerging ad formats. You now can create and manage image banner ads, mobile ads and local business map ads right next to text ads in a seamless, elegant experience. 

Below are more details on the major new features of our Clickable Pro 2.0 release. As always, let us know how we are doing, what is working, what isn’t and what you would like to see in future releases. While we are very excited about this release, we are also humble and aware that we can always improve. So please help us do so.

  • Emerging Google Ad Formats are added to Clickable Pro, to give you more opportunity to connect with customers. Clickable now is among the first tools in which you can manage Google Image, Local Business (maps) and Mobile (text and image) ads. We’re providing this management functionality for free so you can experiment and guide our development around new advertising formats.  In the Manage section you can now add and edit new ad formats right alongside text ads in one simple dashboard.           Emerging Google Ad Formats

  • Keyword Filter & Bulk Edit in the Manage section enables you to quickly search, edit and export high volumes of keywords across all advertising networks and accounts, all at once and with great flexibility. Get straight to the keyword set you want to work on or edit by filtering keywords across a combination of multiple entities, metrics and numerical criteria, then bulk edit bids and destination URLs and export your filtered results to CSV.  Keyword Filter & Bulk Edit reduces tedious spreadsheet analysis, errors and frustration, while saving time.   • Clickable Conversion Tracking moves out of beta and into the Clickable interface so you can easily configure tracking to meet your specific needs. Clickable Conversion Tracking is a powerful, independent, performance analytics tool that works across the three major search engines with one pixel.  It simplifies installation, automatically tags your destination URLs and gives you richer more consistent way to measure advertising return. It is an integrated, intelligent solution, as conversion data is used to set custom goals for your accounts and campaigns and it also informs Clickable’s ActEngine in real time, delivering recommendations customized to your goals and performance with greater returns.   • ActEngine Enhancements include a history of campaign recommendations accepted or ignored; this is the first in a series of enhancements to report transparent results pre- and post-recommendations. New recommendations include more precise match types, proper account campaign setup for content versus search keyword inventory, and optimized long-tail keyword bid. Learn more.

  • Export Account Report in the Analyze section enables you to easily export all keywords, text ad copy and performance metrics for a specific date range.  This export feature provides a quick way to review and analyze your account, campaign and keyword performance.  Learn more.
  • Network Account Management in the Settings section has been redesigned to provide greater visibility into network account status and customization of account settings. Link, unlink and rename accounts and manage conversion status and account goals all in one convenient interface.  Learn more.

We are already at work on our next release, focusing on features that will benefit our customers the most. There are two major themes for our next few releases. We will continue add functionality that makes it easy to perform bulk operations and reuse components and intelligence across campaigns and accounts. We will also enhance our reporting functionality, providing greater visibility over your entire advertising portfolio.
