Clickable At Founders Club NYC

Last night a few members of the Clickable team spent the evening at the rooftop garden of Rockefeller Center for a meeting of the Founders Club. Founders Club is one of our favorite marketing and media events, as it brings together a mix of aspiring and successful company founders, CEOs and media moguls, largely from Silicon Alley and Madison Avenue. It’s a who’s who gathering of New York’s top innovators, movers and shakers – the people defining and building the future of marketing and media. It’s one of the few events Clickable sponsors regularly.

Among last night’s distinguished guests were: News Corp.’s Rupert Murdoch and Jon Miller (a Clickable investor and board member), WPP’s Martin Sorrell, AOL’s Tim Armstrong and IAC’s Barry Diller.

My favorite quote was from Diller: “Anybody with a keyboard and a send button can publish to the world, and that is an extraordinary change.” Indeed it is. Conversely, it’s extraordinary when anyone can do the reverse – find, at any time, anything that anyone has ever published to the world.

Below are a few photos -- captured via my BlackBerry -- of the opening remarks.
