Inspired by Fred Wilson and our own Clickable SEM Guru Ehren, the team at Clickable decided to test Bing, Microsoft’s new search engine, for a week and then report our results. In fact, we installed the Bing add-on for Firefox, the browser engine most of us prefer, to integrate the engine into our workflow.
The bottom line? We were impressed. Bing is interesting and may develop a stronger position, but it’s got a long way to go to catch up to Google — presuming that’s its intention. Below is the synthesis of our collective notes. While not a scientific study, this was an immersive evaluation by 15 members of the Clickable team. We’re guided by expertise in search technology, Web services, interface and product design, online user experience and online advertising.
As always, we’d love to hear what you think. What’s your reaction to Bing?

Interesting review - we do a lot of image searching in our work and everyone is using Bing.
I think Bing is much better for b to b search (lots of what I do)than google.
Finally I was really surprised with the results on a health term search yesterday.
Try searching on Bing for COPD
www.bing.com/search
Way better results that the search on Google.
