ANALYZE

In the Analyze section you can build online reports for any time period - (from previous day to previous year) - and at any level of specificity - (from network account to individual keywords).

Every report in this section can be filtered to a specific time period and a specific entity by setting your filters under the Report Target and Report Period sections.

 

Report Target

Reports can be targeted at the network account, campaign, ad group or keyword level. The default level is the search marketing account that you are currently viewing, which is displayed in the Account drop-down menu. To switch to another account, select from the accounts displayed in the tabs on the far left.

Below Account is a drop-down list that lets you select a campaign within the account you've chosen. If you don't make a selection, or select "-All-," your reports will be at the search marketing account level. If you select a particular campaign, your reports filter to that campaign and a new drop-down appears that allows you to select an ad group within that campaign. Again, you can either not make a selection or select "-All-" to view reports at the campaign level. If you select an ad group, you can view reports for that ad group or - if you'd like to filter even further -  select a particular keyword from the new drop-down list that appears.


Report Period

In addition to targeting your accounts to different entities, you can look at information for different time periods - ranging from Yesterday to This Year- from the Date Range drop-down menu, or create a custom date range.

If you select one of the date ranges from the drop-down menu, the Begin and End dates populate automatically for that range. If you select Custom, on the other hand, you can specify an exact date range by clicking on the Begin and End links below the drop-down list and selecting start and end dates, or you can click directly on the calendar icons.

Once you've set your filters, you can run five different types of reports and collect information about your account, campaign, ad group and keyword performance.
