Position: Engagement Manager

We are looking for a multi-faceted engagement manager to lead product and solutions implementations for large multi-tiered direct customers and agencies. The role requires great relationship management skills, project management excellence, a strategic and consultative approach, technology integration expertise and web advertising product fluency. The ideal candidate combines business and technical expertise and has a background in consulting, (technical) project management, sales engineering, web product management or related disciplines. In-depth knowledge of the online advertising industry and technologies, particularly search marketing is required.

The position is based in New York City

Responsibilities

  • Participate in business development activities, providing product and technical expertise
  • Manage relationships with large, multi-tiered customers and agencies throughout the customer life-cycle
  • Develop and execute project plans for implementing products and solutions, coordinating cross-disciplinary teams including sales, business development, support, engineering and product
  • Consult with customers to define their unique requirements and data models and develop a custom product integration
  • Leverage interactions with customers to proactively determine new product requirements and collaborate with the product team to get them developed
  • Train customers on product setup, usage and best practices

Qualifications

  • Five years experience managing complex web technology, application, product or solution implementations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and wear many hats in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, non-linear environment
  • A background in consulting, (technical) project management, sales engineering, web product management or related disciplines.  
  • In-depth knowledge of the online advertising industry and technologies, particularly search marketing
  • Excellent analytic, strategic, conceptual, communication (oral and written), persuasion and presentation skills
  • An entrepreneurial approach, excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to crate innovative solutions
  • A technology or business Bachelor’s degree
