The Clickable excel report exports in .XLSX format only. XLSX format is a new format based on Microsoft Excel to differentiate MS Office 2007 from their previous version of Excel formats. If you have an older version of Office you will not be able to open the file.
In that case, you would need to convert your file from XLSX to XLS
To do that, please download the Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Excel 2007 from here (27 MB) and double click FileFormatConverters.exe. Accept the license agreements and click Continue with the installment. Once installed, you should be able to open your Clickable XLSX report.
