Automate Your Facebook Ad Campaigns

If you have experience running Facebook Ads, then you’re familiar with challenges like ad fatigue, audience saturation, mismanaged bids and budgets, and the overall difficulty of predicting user behavior. To successfully advertise on Facebook, you need to monitor performance across campaigns and react quickly to weekly, daily, and hourly trends.

Facebook Bids and Budgeting: Available in Manual or Automatic

To reach peak efficiency on Facebook, you must frequently review and adjust your bids and campaign budget allocations. Simply put, the more time and focus you invest in bidding and budgeting, the more cost effective your program can be. Unfortunately, performing this analysis on hundreds or thousands of ads across dozens of campaigns is tedious, and time consuming.

This is where Clickable's Social ActEngine can help. We have been testing this new algorithmic automation software in private beta for a while now, and we’ve been getting amazing results.  By letting the Social ActEngine do the heavy lifting, clients have substantially improved their CPAs over time with minimal effort.

Clickable's proprietary portfolio-based algorithm allows you to choose a target budget for an entire portfolio, while the algorithm continually reallocates individual campaign budgets for you.  Better-performing campaigns will get a bigger share of budget, and wasteful ad spend in poorly-performing campaigns will be minimized. This will help optimize ad spend and improve CPAs, while also saving you time.

Our algorithms currently support two modes of automation

  • Budget and Bid automation - Clickable will reallocate campaign budgets and modify ad-level bids within your portfolio.  This option yields the best results.
  • Bid automation only - Clickable will optimize only the ad-level bids but will not reallocate budget within campaigns.  This option is for advertisers who have fixed budgets for each of their campaigns.

Each night, all campaigns in the Optimization Group are analyzed on a number of parameters to determine the next day’s optimal budget allocation. Ads will also be analyzed to determine the next day’s bids. The algorithms also handle drops in performance due to Ad Fatigue, automatically pausing and activating ads to maximize the longevity of your Facebook campaigns.

If you prefer to do these tasks yourself, Clickable will empower you with other advanced tools to save time and make you more effective.  Ad-rotation, Ad-scheduling and Bulk Ad Management, coupled with powerful analytics, make it easy for to effectively optimize thousands of ads.

Facebook Ads Real-time Analytics and Data Visualization

Improving Facebok advertising performance requires quick and effective data analysis.  Understanding user behavior with hour-by-hour trends and data visualization is a great way to set yourself up for success. Clickable’s Facebook Advertising Suite now includes real-time, interactive graphs that help you visualize key performance metrics across different time periods.

 

With data filters, you can quickly narrow down to specific parts of your account.  For instance, you can find ads that have very low CTR and pause them, or find ads that are disapproved and resubmit them for review. Hourly trends immediately tell you which time of day your ads perform best. You can even track performance your images, and on each of your custom target segments across campaigns and accounts. Our clear, easy-to-customize interface allows you to quickly extract key insights from large data sets.

This enhancement complements the insights that you can find from our analytic grid. The grid makes it easy to compare the performance of individual entities, while graphs help you compare KPI trends across entities. 

Navigation within the grids is also improved to give you a smooth experience while navigating between accounts, campaign etc by using the links on the name of entities. For example, if a specific Target’s performance suggests that CTR has decreased since yesterday, then you can click on that Target’s name to see which ads are are causing that decrease.

Together, Clickable’s grids and graphs empower you to quickly analyze performance and take swift action to optimize your campaigns.

 

Facebook Ads White-Label Reports

In the Report tab, you can run pre-packaged Excel reports; build and save custom reports and metrics; or even white label reports and schedule them to be sent to your colleagues or clients. For Excel reports, you can save customized date ranges, account selections and custom metrics. You can also set scheduling settings in the My Reports section to email the reports for use later.

Facebook Ads Tools: What’s Next?

We have made amazing strides since we launched the Facebook Advertising Suite in January, and we owe a lot of it to our customers. We have made some major updates over past six months, many of which were developed to address specific questions that you asked. Your valuable input has shaped the tool in a very significant way.
